hmm... well, interesting week... probably the only one of its kind in my entire lifetime... (i'm writing this post because i am so bored waiting for youtube to load... and i don't feel like writing my practical training report...) anyway, yeah... so, my week began with surgery... yup, you read that right - SURGERY... not a big one, and just something i had planned to do for quite some time... want to know WHAT KIND of surgery?? haha... EYE surgery... still puzzled?? okay lah... it's just lasik sugery... totally bladeless and almost riskless... for what i hear you ask?? duh... have you been living under a rock? it's a simple procedure to correct my eyesight... happy now?? keke...
yeah... so now i can see without wearing glasses... i have 20/20 vision without wearing glasses... how cool is that?? and i still can't believe i did it... it is like i have been planning this for years and have seen this coming... but to actually go under the laser is a totally different thing... and i still can't believe i did it... it was like one moment i was fully dependent on my prescription glasses and 5 minutes later, i could see without them... 13 years of wearing glasses just disappeared at that moment... it was just... something to be experienced... cool... and interesting...
so now, i'm living a life without the need of glasses... but for the whole of this week since Monday, it had been eye drops after eye drops... the laser procedure guarantees an error and risk free procedure, but they don't guarantee the risk of infection, hence the eye drops... other than that, there are almost no side effects... except for some glare and halo when i look at lights and also a whole list of things i cannot do... for instance, rub my eyes, swim, and etc. etc...
the other thing i want to mention is how ridiculous the whole procedure really is... the only thing you go through the most are tests... okay, fine... they are kinda NECESSARY... but going under the laser was, well, i almost laughed... it felt like nothing... fine, lasers can't be felt... that's why i find it so amusing... seriously, there was ZERO pain throughout the procedure... and one more amusing thing... before the procedure, the nurse asked me if i wanted her to hold her hand... err, yeah~~ if i was a guy... simple procedure... i wasn't nervous, but i guess others would be... for me i felt that knowing what the doctor was going to do helped me calm myself down... i knew what he was doing, so everything was alright... so, in conclusion, do your research before undergoing medical procedure... hahaha...
err... other than that, actually there is nothing else interesting about this week really... stayed indoors first few days... and tonight i can sleep without the eye shields (they keep you from rubbing your eyes unconsciously...)... so that was my week... how was yours???
P.S. i forgot to mention about my recent obsession with INFINITE... these boys are cute... check them out... INFINITE's 네꺼하자 (Be Mine)... it's really good...
